GEOLOGICAL DATA CENTER STEERING COMMITTEE The Geological Data Center (GDC) Steering Committee exists to formulate, with the assistance of the GDC Curator and Head, Marine Technology Group, policies concerning the collection, processing, archiving the early distribution of underway geophysical data and records obtained on SIO research vessels as well as selected non-underway geophysical information.
